Toy and Card Trading at LES
This is a notice letting families know that toy and card trading is not allowed at LES. This is to protect students from unfair trades or losing special/valuable items. Please keep hockey cards, Pokemon cards, and other collectables at home unless arrangements have been made to bring them in for a show and tell or other special occasion planned with your child’s teacher. Thank you!

Lost and Found
Click HERE to watch a video of what is currently in our Lost and Found.
Lost and Found will be cleaned out by the end of next week. All items with names or initials have been pulled and returned. Please have your child collect any items that you see belonging to your family or contact the office so your items can be set aside for pick up.
Pick Up Time and Bike Safety
To help keep all students, families, and staff safe during dismissal time, we kindly ask families not to block the staff parking lot exit or during pick up. We recognize there are limited parking options, however, double parking can make it difficult for vehicles to move safely and can reduce visibility for children crossing the parking lot or riding bikes home.
This time of year, we also have many students biking to and from school. Please take extra caution when driving near the school, watch carefully for cyclists and pedestrians, and help us model/teach safe and respectful street use for our students. We look forward to the MPI Bike Rodeo on June 5 to review bike safety with our students here at school.
We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and patience in helping our dismissal routines run smoothly and safely for all.
