Dress-up Day – Friday, October 31
On Friday, October 31st, LES will have a school dress-up day. Students are invited to come to school wearing a school-appropriate costume. This means we ask students to avoid dressing in scary costumes, wearing scary masks, or bringing weapon props.
Students who do not have a costume but want to participate in the dress-up day are invited to wear purple, orange or black.
We will have a costume parade at 9:25, and students will parade through each other’s classrooms. Parents/families are welcome to watch the parade.
We will be providing a small nut-free treat for the students. Please limit the number of sugary treats sent to school on the 31st and the days following to help our students have a positive and calm mindset throughout the day. Too much sugar makes it difficult for students to concentrate and make good decisions.
We hope that this day will bring fun and joy to our students.
