Celebration of Learning and Report Cards
On Thursday, March 26th, from 4:15 to 6:30 pm, you can accompany your child(ren) to Landmark Elementary School. There will be stations in your child’s classroom and a couple extras around the school. At the stations, your child will guide you through interactive learning experiences. Learning partnerships are essential, and we value the opportunity to share our students’ learning with you!
Please note:
- Please do not arrive before 4:15, as the teachers need time to get ready
- The event will end at 6:30
- An adult must accompany students
Term Two report cards for Kindergarten to Grade 6 will be posted on the Parent Portal on Friday, March 20th at 4:00. As always, please contact your child’s teacher if you have any concerns or questions about your child’s progress. Individual parent/teacher meetings will not occur at the Celebration of Learning, but if you would like to arrange a one-on-one meeting with your child’s teacher, please phone or email.
Moving? Please inform the school if you are moving over the summer and your children won’t attend Landmark Elementary in the fall of 2026. Having this information early helps us with staffing.
Bus Loop Reminder
The bus loop is ONLY for BUSES, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 to 9:00 am and 3:30 – 4:00 pm. Also from 11:30-11:40 during AM Kindergarten bus pick up. Families dropping off or picking up their children or staying for an extended period of time may use the visitor section of our parking lot or the street according to the signs posted.
Hot Lunch
The April/May session is now open for orders. Please see our website les.hsd.ca for access to the order form or click here. We have added BarBurrito to this session’s options, if it is a hit we will continue with this option next year. Please remember that there are no hot lunches in June.
Kindness Spirit Week March 23 – 27
Monday – Team up for kindness (wear any kind of sports gear)
Tuesday – We don’t hide from kindness(wear camouflage, green, black or brown clothing)
Wednesday – Colour our world with kindness (wear tye-dye or bright coloured clothing)
Thursday – Be kind to elders (dress like a senior/older person)
Friday – Dream of kindness (wear P.J.’s or comfy clothing)
