Dear Parents/Guardians,

Parent/Teacher Conferences for Kindergarten to grade 6 will be held on Thursday, November 27th, from 4:00-8:00 for all students. The following day, report cards will be posted on the Parent Portal at 4:00. To access your child’s report card on November 28th, please visit the HSD Parent Portal at https://hsd.ca/schools/parent-portal/. 

Kindergarten EYE (Early Years Evaluation) reports for Term 1 will be shared with parents at the parent teacher conferences.

We have decided to have the parent-teacher conferences before the report card as it allows the teacher to connect with the parent about the child’s learning, providing the context for reading the report card. We encourage all parents to attend the conferences as a strong home connection supports student learning.

The Parent Portal will be used to book Parent Teacher meetings.

Step 3: Follow the instructions as listed

Take note:

    • Bookings are first come, first serve
    • Appointments are ten minute time slots
    • Meetings will be in-person
  • For students of Kindergarten – You will have the option to book an appointment with Mrs. Neufeld on November 26 or November 27 (more info to follow from teacher)
  • For students of 1HV –  Although parents will only see Lisa Verinder’s name when choosing a time slot, both Mrs. Henoff and Ms. Verinder will be present at the appointment
  • Meetings can also be booked with the classroom teacher, Mrs. Gordon (music teacher) and Mr. Renaud (phys. ed. teacher)
  • The scheduler will be closed at midnight the day before the Parent Teacher meetings
  • If you have any questions, please contact the school office
  • If you prefer a phone call or if November 27th does not suit you, please contact the classroom teacher to arrange an alternate date and time
