If you have any mitts you want to donate, we keep some in the office for students to use for the day if they forget their mittens.
Winter Fun Day
We hope for nice weather on Thursday, January 30th, for our Winter Fun Day. Please sign your child’s permission form on the Parent Portal so they can participate in the planned activities. It should be a fun day!
Lunch Clubs
During the winter months, we like to run some recess lunch clubs. At this time, the following clubs are being offered:
Basketball Club – Grades 5 and 6
Plant Club – Grade 4
Play Club – Grades 1-3
Puzzle Club – Grade 2/3
Kindergarten Registration – 2025/2026 School Year
Kindergarten registration for the 2025-2026 school year is open. The registration process will take place online at HSD.ca. If you do not have access to the internet, please visit our school, and we will assist you in completing the registration form on a school computer.
Parents/Guardians are encouraged to register their children as soon as possible. Registering early will assist our school in preparation and planning for the upcoming school year. Early registration also provides parents/guardians with the opportunity to participate in upcoming orientation activities.
Children must be five years of age on or before December 31, 2025 to be eligible for 2025/26 registration and are required to attend the school within the catchment area in which they reside.
Once registration is complete, your child’s information will be collected at the school, and you will be contacted in spring with details about Kindergarten orientation.
