Indigenous Education – Hoop Dancers – November 5-7
We are excited to share that we will be collaborating with the Mason Hoop Dancers. The oldest Mason sisters (ages 15 and 16) have been hoop dancing together for 9 years. Their youngest sister (age 7) also dances with them. They will be sharing their talents and skills with our students through leading hands-on workshops with each class. Our students will have the opportunity to learn some basic hoop dancing skills and to increase their appreciation and understanding of Indigenous arts and culture. We hope to celebrate our learning with an assembly on Thursday, November 7th, at 2:35. Family members are welcome to attend.
