Congratulations to our grade one to six students who performed at the Southeast Manitoba Festival on Tuesday. The students did an amazing job both as performers and audience members. If you missed seeing your child perform, they will perform their songs at a school assembly on Monday, March 18th, at 2:50.
Celebration of Learning and Report Cards
On Thursday, March 21st, from 4:30 to 6:30 pm, you can accompany your child(ren) to Landmark Elementary School. There will be stations in your child’s classroom and throughout the school. At the stations, your child will guide you through interactive learning experiences. Learning partnerships are essential, and we value the opportunity to share our students’ learning with you!

The event will end at 6:30
- KPM’s Celebration of Learning will take place on Tuesday, March 19th, from 4:30 to 6:30
- Students must be accompanied by an adult
Term Two report cards for Kindergarten to Grade 6 will be posted on the Parent Portal on Monday, March 18th, at 4:00. As always, please contact your child’s teacher if you have any concerns or questions about your child’s progress. Individual parent/teacher meetings will not take place that evening, but if you would like to arrange a one-on-one meeting with your child’s teacher, please phone or email.
Indigenous Education
On Friday, Hanover School Divison’s Indigenous Learning and Assessment Coach, Brett Schmall, will spend the day with us, leading the students through an exploration of the Canadian Geographic Atlas of Canada Giant Floor Map. The map will be set up for the Celebration of Learning for additional exploration!
Spring Break
No school for students from March 25-29. Classes will resume Monday, April 1st.
Staffing Update
Mrs. Kailey Penner will be on leave for the remainder of the school year. Mrs. Kim Gordon will continue as our Guidance Counsellor.
2024/2025 School Year Planning
It is the time of the school year when we start planning for next year. Please contact the office if your child(ren) will not attend LES next year. This is important information for us to have as we make our plans.

Spring Break Soccer Camp at Providence University College:
Providence is excited to offer a 4-day soccer camp experience during Spring Break. Join Providence Women’s Soccer Head Coach Tory Walker and Men’s Soccer Head Coach Gio Benitez Friesen, along with their players for 4 days of soccer skills, games and more.
Dates: March 25-28, 2024
Location: Providence University College
Ages: 8- 12 Years Old
Drop off: 8:30am in the gym.
Pick up: 5:00pm in the gym.
Cost: $175 + GST
Lunch in the cafeteria and snacks provided daily.
Please bring indoor shoes/cleats, water bottle, and wear athletic clothing.
