Grade 5 Supply List - 2009/10

Your child is asked to bring the following supplies to Meet the Teacher Night on Tuesday, September 8th from 4:30-6:30 pm. First day of classes will be Wednesday, September 9th.

• 1 basic calculator (large enough buttons for easy handling)
• $7.00 for agenda book
• Markers (thick and thin type)
• Pencil crayons
• 2 erasers
• 30 cm ruler
• 1 Kleenex box
• 5 - 6 blue or black pens
• 3 red pens
• Large scissors
• Webster (student) Dictionary - 2000 Edition or newer
• Stencils (2 - 5cm)
• 2 glue sticks
• 4 sturdy binders - 25mm (SS, ELA, Math, French)
• 10 dividers
• 1 duo tang  (Healthy Living)
• 1 pocket folder for Music
• 1 English baroque recorder (available to purchase from the school in September)
• $6 Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra field trip fee
• Gym clothes in a gym bag (eg. cloth or drawstring, no plastic bags please)
• Students should have a separate pair of non-marking shoes for inside (gym shoes if you wish) and another pair for outside use

* It is very important for organization and storage purposes that each student has the four binders exactly as listed.
* It is important to have all supplies for the first day of classes. Please make sure all supplies are labeled.
* Reusing suitable supplies from other siblings or from previous years is encouraged.
