On Thursday afternoon (January 19) the students had an extended recess while we worked to put out a small fire in the school’s canteen. Our lost-and-found bin was overflowing so, for the past week, items have been on display on the benches in front of the school office. Anything not claimed by this Friday will be bagged and removed. Parents, if you suspect your child might have lost an item or two, please feel free to stop by and check out our ‘display’. Items include clothing (of course), water bottles, lunch bags and food containers, shoes/boots, caps and mittens.
Tuesday, November 1 at 1:40 we kick off our Kindness Month with an assembly. During that assembly, there will be a short presentation from Operation Christmas Child (Samaritan’s Purse) explaining to the students why we fill shoe boxes for less fortunate kids around the world.
